

Paper Hearts II: Gender and Power in Turtle Island Literary/Canadian/US Literary Communities

With a critical panel running from 12 noon to 1.45pm, followed by literary readings from 2pm to 3pm, this event will provide a space for some much needed discussion about the current state of affairs in the Canadian academic and creative writing communities.
Speakers include Carmen Aguirre, Helen Knott, Jess Nicol, Rain Prud’homme-Cranford, and Julie Rak.
This free event is open to faculty, students, and the general public, and a simple lunch will be served. As usual, it will be held in the TIA House space in the Social Sciences block, SS 1059.
